고요한 어둠 속 스미는 온기
저희는 레스토랑의 본질인 ‘식사’에 온전히 집중할 수 있는 공간을 만드는 것을 중요하게 여겼습니다. 브랜드가 지닌 서사를 공간적 언어로 풀어내고 이를 시각적으로 표현하기 위해 ‘CAVE’라는 키워드를 도입해 일상과 비일상의 경계를 흐리고 마치 동굴 속 깊숙이 들어온 듯한 경험을 선사합니다.
중력을 거스르듯 위에서 아래로 자라나는 듯한 암석 형상은 공간 전체를 뒤덮고 그 존재감을 강조하기 위해 반사 효과를 활용했습니다. 천장에는 별빛이 스며드는 듯한 조명을 설치하여 마치 밤하늘 아래에 있는 것 같은 초현실적인 장면을 연출하여 마치 암벽의 틈새에서 새어 나오는 듯 자연스럽게 퍼지고 그림자와 함께 공간의 입체감을 더욱 극대화합니다.
기둥과 천장이 유기적으로 연결되어 만들어낸 볼륨감은 실제 자연 동굴의 구조를 연상시키며 시각적인 통일성과 몰입감을 더해줍니다. 특유의 거친 질감을 표현하기 위해 벽면은 시멘트를 사용해 도포하고 깎아내며 모양을 잡아나갔습니다. 무심하게 반복되는 공정 속에서도 재료가 가진 물성과 질감이 그대로 드러나도록 의도하였고 그렇게 완성된 표면은 마치 오랜 시간 용암이 흘러 굳어버린 암석처럼 공간 전반에 묵직한 밀도를 부여합니다. 비움과 채움, 긴장과 이완이 교차되는 구조 속에서 사용자는 감각적으로 ‘머무름’ 그 자체를 경험하게 됩니다.

Warmth Seeping Through the Quiet Darkness
We placed the highest importance on creating a space that allows guests to fully focus on the essence of a restaurant—the act of dining itself. To translate the brand’s narrative into a spatial language and express it visually, we introduced the keyword “CAVE,” blurring the boundary between the everyday and the extraordinary. The space offers an experience akin to stepping deep into a cave, where perception gradually shifts and attention becomes inwardly focused.
A rock-like form appears to grow downward from above, seemingly defying gravity as it envelops the entire space. Reflective effects are employed to heighten its presence, allowing the form to expand beyond its physical boundaries. Overhead, lighting reminiscent of starlight creates a surreal atmosphere, as if standing beneath a night sky. The light spreads gently, like illumination seeping through crevices in a rock face, and together with shadow, intensifies the three-dimensional depth of the space.
The volumetric mass formed by organically connected columns and ceilings recalls the structure of an actual natural cave, reinforcing both visual unity and immersion. To express a distinctly rough texture, the walls were shaped through repeated application and carving of cement. Even within this seemingly indifferent repetition of process, the inherent materiality and texture were intentionally left exposed. The resulting surfaces resemble rock hardened by flowing lava over time, imparting a dense and weighty presence throughout the space.
Within a structure where emptiness and solidity, tension and release intersect, users are invited to experience staying itself as a sensorial act—quiet, immersive, and deeply resonant.
