무채색으로 짜인 한국의 선

랑데자뷰의 세 번째 코스메틱 브랜드 아이엠 랑데자뷰 매그놀리아 지점은 제주 자연을 향한 오마주를 담아낸 공간입니다. 제주의 풍경과 정서를 직접적으로 차용하기보다 그 안에 깃든 자연의 질서와 고요한 감각을 공간 언어로 풀어내는 데 집중했습니다. 이를 통해 방문자들은 자연이 지닌 순수한 인상과 절제된 현대적 미감이 공존하는 특별한 경험을 감각적으로 마주하게 됩니다.

이번 지점의 아이덴티티는 종로라는 장소성과 목련이라는 상징적 요소를 중심으로 출발했습니다. 오래된 시간의 결이 남아 있는 종로의 분위기 위에 목련이 지닌 단아한 인상과 고요한 존재감을 겹쳐 공간의 성격을 설정했습니다. 목련의 부드러운 색감과 자연스러운 곡선, 직관적인 형태는 공간 곳곳에 스며들며 절제된 리듬과 고유한 분위기를 만들어냅니다.

현대적인 구조를 기반으로 목련의 색을 은은하게 얹고 전통적인 디테일을 현대적으로 재해석하여 감각을 유연하게 풀어냈습니다. 목련의 컬러와 형태를 추상적으로 재해석한 디자인 요소들과 함께 자개와 한지와 같은 전통 소재를 활용해 한국적인 정서를 섬세하게 담아냈습니다. 이러한 요소들은 단순한 장식에 머무르지 않고 공간 전반에 흐르는 선과 여백의 감각을 완성하며 고유의 아름다움과 전통을 현대적이고 세련된 방식으로 드러내는 역할을 합니다.

무채색의 절제된 톤 속에서 한국적인 선의 미학을 조용히 드러내는 공간으로 과하지 않은 표현 속에서 깊이를 만들어줍니다.

Korean Lines Woven in Monochrome

Rather than directly borrowing Jeju’s scenery or imagery, the space focuses on translating the natural order and quiet sensibility embedded within the island into a spatial language. Through this approach, visitors are invited to sensorially experience a moment where the purity of nature and restrained contemporary aesthetics coexist.

The identity of this location began with two central elements: the sense of place found in Jongno and the symbolic presence of the magnolia. Layered upon the traces of time embedded in Jongno’s atmosphere, the magnolia’s understated elegance and calm presence define the character of the space. Its soft hues, natural curves, and intuitive forms gently permeate the interior, creating a restrained rhythm and a distinctive ambience.

Set upon a modern structural framework, magnolia-inspired colors are subtly layered, while traditional details are reinterpreted through a contemporary lens to create a flexible and refined spatial expression. Abstracted interpretations of the magnolia’s color and form are paired with traditional materials such as mother-of-pearl and hanji, delicately conveying a Korean sensibility. These elements move beyond mere decoration, completing a sense of line and void that flows throughout the space and revealing the inherent beauty and tradition of Korea in a modern and sophisticated manner.

Within a restrained monochromatic palette, the space quietly expresses the aesthetics of Korean lines, creating depth through subtlety rather than excess.
