제주의 자연을 품은 붉은 여운 

랑데자뷰의 네 번째 코스메틱 브랜드 아이엠 랑데자뷰 카멜리아 지점은 제주도의 자연이 지닌 깊은 인상을 공간 안에 고스란히 담아낸 프로젝트입니다. 제주의 풍경과 기후 그리고 그 안에 스며든 시간의 결을 직접적으로 재현하기보다 제주만이 지닌 고유한 자연의 정서를 공간 언어로 풀어내는데 초점을 두었습니다. 이를 통해 방문자들이 자연의 순수함과 현대적인 미감이 조화롭게 공존하는 특별한 경험을 감각적으로 마주할 수 있도록 합니다.

이번 프로젝트는 제주를 대표하는 상징 중 하나인 동백에서 출발했습니다. 겨울의 끝자락에도 짙은 색으로 피어나는 동백은 강인함과 고요함을 동시에 지닌 존재로 공간 전반의 분위기를 이끄는 핵심으로 작용합니다. 동백의 붉은 색감은 단순한 포인트 컬러가 아닌 공간을 감싸는 정서로 확장되며 시선과 감각을 부드럽게 이끕니다. 

이를 자연스럽게 구현하기 위해 그라데이션 페인트 기법을 적용해 색이 한 지점에 머무르지 않고 서서히 스며들 듯 번지도록 연출했습니다. 농담이 겹겹이 쌓인 붉은 톤은 공간에 깊이와 밀도를 더하며 빛과 만날 때마다 미묘하게 다른 표정을 드러냅니다. 이 과정에서 컬러는 장식적인 요소를 넘어 공간의 분위기와 흐름을 만들어내는 중요한 감각적 장치로 기능합니다.

A Crimson Afterglow Embracing the Nature of Jeju

I am Rendezvous Camellia, the fourth cosmetic brand space by Rendezvous, is a project that captures the profound impressions of Jeju’s natural landscape within an architectural setting. Rather than directly recreating Jeju’s scenery, climate, or the passage of time embedded within it, the space focuses on translating the island’s unique natural sensibility into a contemporary spatial language. Through this approach, visitors are invited to encounter a special experience where the purity of nature and modern aesthetics exist in quiet harmony.

This project takes its inspiration from the camellia, one of Jeju’s most iconic symbols. Blooming in deep hues even at the end of winter, the camellia embodies both strength and serenity, becoming a central motif that shapes the overall atmosphere of the space. Its crimson tone extends beyond a simple accent color, unfolding as an emotional layer that gently envelops the space and guides both gaze and sensation.

To express this quality naturally, a gradient painting technique was applied, allowing color to diffuse gradually rather than remain fixed in a single point. Layers of red tones accumulate to create depth and density, revealing subtly different expressions as they interact with light. In this process, color moves beyond decoration to function as a key sensorial element—shaping the mood, rhythm, and flow of the space.
