바람의 곡선을 따라 머무는 스테이 

서울 'ㄷ'자 형태의 골목 끝자락에 자리한 이 스테이는 하얀 도화지 위에 정성스레 그림을 그리는 듯한 인상을 주는 공간입니다. 어두운 톤의 목구조와 대비되는 밝은 내부 톤을 통해 무게감과 가벼움이 균형을 이루도록 했으며 벽면은 하나로 흐르는 듯한 연속성을 갖도록 계획해 공간 전체가 자연스럽게 이어집니다. 면적 대비 다인원이 머물 수 있는 공간이지만 넓어보일 수 있도록 동선과 톤의 조화에 집중했습니다. 전반적으로 화이트, 아이보리, 라이트 그레이 톤 위에 짙은 우드와 블랙 포인트를 더해 심플하면서도 정적인 무드를 표현해냈습니다.

주방 후드 영역은 곡선으로 공간의 흐름을 부드럽게 연결해줍니다. 별채로 구성된 자쿠지 공간은 한 면 전체를 통창으로 격자문양을 적용해 한옥의 차경을 들여오고자 했습니다. 내부에 머무는 동안에도 자연의 숨결을 느낄 수 있도록 계획했습니다. 수 공간은 어두운 타일을 사용해 안정적인 무게감을 부여해줬습니다.

침실 벽면은 산수화의 능선을 모티브로 점묘법적 표현을 결합함으로써 '면,선,점'이 조화를 이루는 장면을 만들어냈습니다. 공용부에서 침실까지 이어지는 동선은 곡선으로 유기적으로 연결되며 미니멀하고 절제된 분위기 속에서 공간의 포인트가 자연스럽게 드러나도록 구성했습니다.

이 곳에서의 시간은 과장되지 않은 여백 속에서 고요한 쉼을 경험하는 순간으로 채워지기를 바랍니다.

A Stay That Lingers Along the Curves of the Wind

Located at the end of a U-shaped alley in Seoul, this stay presents the impression of a carefully drawn image upon a blank white canvas. Through the contrast between a dark-toned wooden structure and a bright interior palette, the space balances a sense of weight and lightness. Walls are planned to flow as a continuous surface, allowing the entire space to connect naturally. Though designed to accommodate multiple guests within a compact footprint, careful consideration was given to circulation and tonal harmony to create an open and spacious feel. Overall, a base of white, ivory, and light gray is accented with deep wood and black details, forming a simple yet calm and contemplative atmosphere.

The kitchen hood area introduces gentle curves that soften and connect the spatial flow. The jacuzzi, arranged as a separate annex, features a full-height glass wall fitted with lattice patterns, drawing in the borrowed scenery of a traditional hanok. This allows guests to remain connected to the presence of nature even while indoors. Dark-toned tiles are used in the water area, grounding the space with a sense of stability and quiet weight.

The bedroom wall takes inspiration from the ridgelines of traditional landscape painting, combining them with pointillist expressions to create a composition where plane, line, and dot coexist in harmony. The circulation from the shared spaces to the bedroom unfolds through gentle curves, allowing focal moments to emerge naturally within a restrained and minimalist setting.

Time spent here is intended to be filled with moments of quiet rest—experienced within unembellished voids, where calmness settles without excess.
